LEARN ABOUT THE LESSON ARCHITECT

The Lesson Architect™ is an online lesson planning tool you can use to align your lessons to state standards. The Lesson Architect™ along with our new guidebook, Aligning Instruction to Standards, Just Ask Andie, allows you to plan and refine your lessons. When using the Lesson Architect™, you can save your lessons and edit them at a later time.

The Lesson Architect™ uses an eight step instructional design process. The eight steps are:

START: Unit Title and Purpose
STEP 1: Lesson Title and Purpose
STEP 2: Student Standards
STEP 3: Learning Targets
STEP 4: Assessment of Learning Targets
STEP 5: Introduction of Lesson
STEP 6: Lesson Activities
STEP 7: Summary of Lesson
STEP 8: Lesson Resources and Materials

In the Lesson Architect™ there is an "Ask Andie" button. This button provides a summary description of each step.
